Battery Prices Coming Down—EV Sales Going Up?

Supply is finally catching up to demand when it comes to the minerals required to produce batteries for the EV market, according to Goldman Sachs Research. This is good news for EV makers, as it means battery prices are projected to fall in the next few months and years. In combination with ongoing battery innovation, the lower prices are expected to boost electric vehicle sales.

The Best RV Campgrounds in the U.S., According to RV Trader

RV marketplace website RV Trader has rounded up the best places to camp in each region across the U.S. The top campgrounds in the Northeast, South, Midwest, and West were selected based on things like location, scenery, climate, amenities, and nearby attractions. Some highlights include the St. Petersburg/Madeira Beach KOA Holiday in Florida, the OAK Campground & RV Park in Missouri, and Dockweiler RV Park in Los Angeles.

Do You Qualify for the $7,500 EV Tax Credit in 2024? 

If you’re planning to buy an electric vehicle this year, you’re likely looking to take advantage of any available tax credits—but due to new Department of Energy rules on battery origins, the list of vehicles that qualify for the full $7,500 in 2024 is short. There are some ways to get around the new rules, including a loophole that applies to leasing EVs. And for models that do qualify, the credit will be applied as an instant rebate at dealerships. Death Valley, One of the Driest Places in North America, Is Blooming

California’s Death Valley National Park, known as the hottest place on Earth, has been experiencing one of its wettest periods on record in the last few months. After a tropical storm caused major flooding in the park in August, a temporary lake appeared at Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America. All this rain has also brought a colorful bloom of flowers to the area, “supercharged” by last month’s atmospheric river.
